Job Description

Job purpose:
The role will take full P&L responsibility for the business in Vietnam. The purpose of the role is to shape and develop the business, ensuring that the organisation is effective and profitable and that company's goals are achieved. The job holder will be capable of identifying strategic projects for the Vietnam business and for their successful implementation. The job holder will lead, manage and develop all employees. The role also requires the job holder to lead and develop the commercial/ sales activities and there is a requirement to bring a personal contribution to sales and business development and help grow the company.
Principle Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
- Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and to expand the company's customer base and market share and achieve the company annual budget/plan.- Build and maintain strong long-lasting customer and partner relationships, which will include key customer visits and presentations.- Develop and support the operations team and ensure they are able to complete all service projects effectively, on time, with good quality, in the workshop and at the customer sites.- Ensure the implementation of regional/Group strategies as decided by the Group.- Control costs and resources within the legal entity to ensure it is effective and profitable.- To develop the business plan for the legal entity.- Forecast and produce budgets for the annual sales targets (including reforecasting and re-budgeting if necessary).- Lead, coach and develop all employees/ functions within the legal entity ensuring all employees have the skills need to do their jobs.- Recruitment of new sales and operations employees if necessary.- The ability to manage all departments/ functions effectively. Experience of working in a technical manufacturing environment and working with the different teams.- To ensure the site/employees are legally complaint with all local laws and with WAG rules, policies and procedures- To ensure that all reporting requirements to Group are carried out in full and within agreed timescales.- Responsibility for health, safety and the environmental standards of the company.

Job Requirements

Experience/Qualifications/ Knowledge:
- Degree or recognised qualification in welding engineering, metallurgy or previous relevant experience gained in commercial/sales areas within the welding industry. - Experience of selling welding or arc spraying services and products.- 10 years’ experience working at management level.- Experience of hard-facing and spraying projects- Demonstrable experience of managing and developing a Sales team.- Financial planning and budget management experience to include margin management and sales KPI’s.
Skills/Competencies:- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. Fluent English, both spoken and written essential – other languages an advantage.- Strong technical ability and skills in the area of hard-facing and arc spraying.- Excellent leadership skills with an understanding of team dynamics, able to motivate and inspire colleagues across all functions of the business.- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to plan, prioritise, multi-task and able to work calmly under pressure.- The ability to drive through tangible targets and results.- A strong people manager who can build strong relationships both internally and externally.- Proficient in sales, business development and business planning.
- Experience and ability to use ERP and CRM systems such as Oracle NS, SAP, Salesforce.
