Job Description
The role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of injection molding operations, focusing on technology implementation, equipment performance, and team management. This role ensures optimal production efficiency, quality control, and adherence to safety standards while leading a skilled team of technicians and operators.
Key responsibilities include:
• Oversee daily injection molding operations to ensure production goals are met.
• Develop and implement operational strategies to improve efficiency and reduce waste.
• Monitor production schedules, manage workflow, and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
• Evaluate and implement new technologies to enhance production capabilities.
• Conduct regular assessments of molding equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaborate with maintenance teams to develop preventative maintenance schedules and troubleshoot equipment issues.
• Establish and maintain quality standards for molded products.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and reduce defects.
• Analyze production data and metrics to identify trends and areas for improvement.
• Supervise and mentor a team of injection molding technicians and operators.
• Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and facilitate training programs.
• Foster a collaborative and safe working environment that encourages employee engagement and development.
• Assist in developing and managing the injection molding department budget.
• Analyze production costs and implement strategies to optimize resource utilization.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• 3 years of experience in injection molding operations, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of injection molding processes, equipment, and technologies.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in production management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Good English communication
