Job Description
Responsibilities:
• Design and develop embedded hardware for a fitness product.
• Support project team activities related to the specification of requirements, hardware implementation, test case development, verification test execution, and certification support.
• Analyze requirements, identify required work, and estimate development tasks.
• Work in conjunction with the software engineering team to ensure the solution meets operational requirements.
• Create product documentation inputs for technical writers.
• Work with the manufacturing organization to make sure new product hardware and features are smoothly integrated into production.
• Analyze and troubleshoot customer-reported software issues.
• Collaborate with multiple software teams.
Job Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related major.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Schematics & PCB design experience.
• Strong Leadership quality in terms of driving an architecture from top functionality to actual implementation.
• Being able to lead a team of 2-3 engineers working under the candidate.
• Having a good understanding of various Standards like CE, FCC, RoHS, and MIL-461 from EMI-EMC point and being able to drive products meeting the standard and leading the validation of the product for the same.
• Having a good understanding of how to manage the life cycle of the product and aging-related issues and how to handle them upfront.
• Strong fundamentals in Digital Electronics Design.
• Having hands-on Experience in designing multiple-layer PCBs.
• Having hands-on experience in designing BLE, WIFI, USB, Motor controllers, and Audio Amplifiers.
• Sound knowledge of Microcontroller (ARM) based designs.
• Essential to have an understanding of firmware and programming with firmware.
• Ability to convert requirements into design.
• Excellent debugging and problem-solving skills.
• Hands-on experience in using Altium Designer.
• Having hands-on experience in using JIRA and at least one version control tool such as Git, Gerrit;
• Good English skills.
