Job Description
Role Expectations:
- Develop and design scalable, high-performing back-end applications with a focus on long-term operational sustainability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to introduce new features and deliver efficient, high-quality solutions.
- Maintain and optimize existing applications by identifying and resolving performance issues and bugs while ensuring system security and reliability.
Sample Tasks:
- Take a hands-on approach to system design and development, including unit testing and documentation.
- Implement features and integrations using clean, efficient code while following industry best practices.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to enhancing development processes for improved efficiency and quality.
Job Requirements
Must-Have Requirements:
- Proven experience in technology verification, requirements analysis, architectural design, and infrastructure setup for development teams or multi-project environments.
- Hands-on experience addressing challenges in technology, products, or development processes.
- Expertise in back-end development and web application operations using statically typed languages and frameworks such as TypeScript, Node.js, or NestJS.
- Proficiency in working within a Docker-native infrastructure environment.
- Strong business communication skills in English, with the ability to manage daily tasks, including written communication and meetings, in English.
Nice-to-Have Requirements:
- Experience designing and developing large-scale systems across multiple teams.
- Familiarity with domain-driven design (DDD) principles.
- Experience with Scrum or Agile development methodologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages with strong static typing and functional programming features, such as NodeJS/NestJS, Typescript, Java, Go, C,C , etc.
- Knowledge of front-end development and frameworks like React.js and Next.js.
- Hands-on experience in designing, developing, and managing microservices.
- Experience in building secure web applications.
- Business-level proficiency in Japanese.
