Job Description

We are seeking a Product Development Director to lead and manage the entire product development lifecycle, from concept creation to market launch. This strategic role is key to driving innovation, delivering exceptional products, and ensuring the growth and success of our company.

Key Responsibilities:
Develop Product Strategy: Formulate and execute a product development strategy aligned with the company's business objectives and market needs.
Lead Product Development: Oversee all stages of product development, including concept creation, packaging design, commercialization, and beyond.
Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with technical, marketing, sales, R&D, and other departments to ensure seamless execution of product initiatives.
Define Vision & Innovation: Analyze market trends, emerging technologies, and consumer needs to develop innovative products that align with the company’s goals.
Ensure Timely Delivery: Manage project timelines, budgets, and risks to ensure the successful delivery of products.
Post-Launch Optimization: Monitor product performance after launch, gather feedback, and incorporate learnings into future product development.
Compliance & Standards: Ensure all products meet regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.

Job Requirements

Qualifications & Experience:
Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
Industry Expertise: At least 10 years of experience in product development, preferably in the food and beverage or FMCG industry; experience in developing fruit-based products is a strong advantage.
Leadership Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a leadership role, with a proven track record of managing successful product launches.
Supplier Knowledge: Experience working with local suppliers and manufacturers.

Key Competencies:
Strong project management, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Proven ability to lead and motivate cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment.
A deep understanding of local market dynamics, consumer behavior, and trends.
Familiarity with regulatory requirements and standards in Vietnam.
Excellent communication skills in English (French proficiency is a plus).
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant tools.

Reporting Line:
This role reports directly to the General Manager.
